At this point I don’t think there is a person in the
universe that isn’t aware of my wild, wild love for cardigans, and that is doubly
true when it comes to Banned cardis. The last time I counted (which was 30 seconds
ago, because I needed to know) I had 8 of them, and I wear them constantly. In
fact, I am beginning to fear I might wear them out, and then what will I do?!
Well, the answer is, of course, get more of them, and my
latest addition to the growing collection is this Frankencardi I have been
swooning over for months. The Gothic Shop once again gladly fueled my addiction
and agreed to send it to me for a quick shoot where I paired it with a Phaze
Clothing dress.
I always love the detailed and high quality stitching of all
Banned cardigans, and this one is, of course, no exception. I especially
appreciate the little bats on the sleeves, as they just add that little extra
you need. The cardi is just a tiny bit
too large for me, even though it’s a size S/M, but of course, that won’t stop
me from wearing it. It’s made of 60%
rayon and is silky soft to the touch.
What I also really love about Banned, and rarely remember to
mention, is that they always attach a replacement button with the tags, though
I have, to this day, never needed it.
I paired it with my Frankenstein earrings (or, Frankenstein’s
monster, to be precise), and I can see this being one of my favourite combos
for evening drinks with friends.
Until next time!
xoxo
