I really
love this kitten print from Hell Bunny, and having it only on a skirt just wasn’t
enough, so when Rockabilly Pinup offered to send it to me in dress form as well
to review, I jumped at the opportunity!
The dress
itself is of the same summer cotton as the skirt, with a full circle skirt,
hidden back zipper and a sweetheart neckline. It also features shirring in the
back, allowing for a bit of slack as the cotton itself isn’t stretchy. Another
wonderful addition are the pockets, which are really something every good dress
should have, provided it doesn’t ruin the cut. This dress comes with the pink and black belt,
and it really provides a lovely and interesting contrast to the rest of the
outfit.
The
necklace came from Atomic Lace, who make incredibly cute and designs. I think
this meow necklace adds just that tiny cheeky detail that ties the entire outfit
together, and is in general a lovely addition to just about any outfit. Plus, I seriously have a soft spot for pink
+black combo!
The hair
rose came from Be bop a hairbands, and I cooperated with them before, and was
always left amazed at the great quality and attention to detail they give their
products, and this is no exception. Hair flowers are a great way to accessorize
vintage outfits, especially in the summer, and give them that little extra
something. Brocade Budoir helped style
my hair and D. was responsible for the wardrobe. I am so lucky to have such
willing helpers who work for coffee and cakes!
Until next time!
